SolidLabel™ is a complete turnkey labeling system offering a single point of control for packaging lines including print and apply labelers, case sealers, erectors and conveyor controls.

Most of the major retailers today require incoming shipments from vendors to contain labels per their strict specifications. This process is called compliance labeling, and provides many benefits to the retailer by eliminating steps in the receiving, shipping and order confirmation process. For the supplier this causes many potential problems including purchasing compliance labeling systems or paying non-compliance fees. The SolidLabel™ system from Cornerstone Automation Systems can prevent the fines and allow the vendor to save money by reducing labor from the labeling process.

Typical Compliance Labeling System

Cartons stage on the TransMaster™ zone control conveyor prior to being scanned. Each carton is scanned and a lookup performed using SolidComm™ obtaining the compliance label information.

Once this is done, the label is applied.

After the label is applied, the barcode is scanned to ensure proper label placement and readability. SolidLabel™ can use either Barcode scanners or RF Tag readers for product Identification.
